Friends of Wine Limited (Friends of Wine) Ordering

1. Purchasers must be 18 years or over. Friends of Wine Ltd will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order with us you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Goods are only available whilst stocks last. In the unlikely event of goods you have ordered becoming unavailable, we will offer goods of similar style and of equal or greater quality.
3. Friends of Wine Ltd reserves the right not to accept any order.
4. Our minimum purchase is normally 12 standard bottles (75cl) or equivalent when ordered online, unless specifically stated against certain wines.

Delivery Wines

1. We aim to provide next working day delivery, where available, provided your order is made and confirmed before noon. Orders taken after this time will be delivered with 2-5 working days. The exception is for goods which are specifically indicated as taking longer. Alternatively, you may suggest a preferred date in the future to suit you.
2. The order will be delivered to your preferred address or an alternative address you may have specified. Deliveries are only made between Monday and Friday. Deliveries are not made on public holidays. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Scilly Isles will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days of your order being made and confirmed. This includes postcodes AB4, 5, 31, 33, 35-38, 44, 454, 51-56, FK18-21, G84, IV1-28, 30,36-36, 40, 52-54, 63, KA27, 28, PA20-40, PH19-22, 25, 26, PH30-41, 49, 50, TR21-25. Orders for the following postcodes, IV1-20, IV30-32, IV36, AB38, PH19-26, can be delivered next working day, but this is not guaranteed. The standard charge for delivery is £6.99. Delivery charge to the Scottish Highlands, Scilly Isles, IOW, IOM and Northern Ireland is £28. Delivery charge to a Scottish Island is £47. 3. In the event of Friends of Wines delivery agents not being able to obtain a signature for delivery at the specified address, the goods will be returned to the depot and held there overnight; unless you have given us specific instructions to leave the goods elsewhere e.g. garden shed, with a neighbour etc.
4. Our delivery agents will leave a card to advise you that they have attempted delivery. They will attempt delivery again on the next working day. If delivery is not possible, the goods will be returned to the depot and stored for two days. If you have not arranged for collection or re-delivery before this time, the goods will be returned to Friends of Wine. You may contact Friends of Wine to arrange re-delivery. Friends of Wine reserve the right to charge an additional standard delivery fee in this instance.

Prices

1. All our prices are inclusive of VAT. A separate charge for delivery is highlighted at the point of purchase and in our literature.
2. Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts after the promotion has expired.

Returns

1. If you don't like any wine for whatever reason… or if any bottle is broken or spoilt, simply email us at info@friendsofwine.com within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it.

Complaints and Correspondence

1. In the event of a complaint, please email info@friendsofwine.com containing as much detail as possible.
2. All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and a full investigation will be completed within 72 hours. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be dealt with by a senior manager or director.

Credit, Debit and Charge Cards

1. When paying with certain credit, debit or charge cards, Friends of Wine may be obliged to make a small administration charge. You will be notified of this when you place your order.

Intellectual Property Rights

All copyright, database rights, trademarks and any other intellectual property rights in and to the content on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, banners, images, buttons, underlying source code and software, is the sole property of Friends of Wine Limited.

Any use (including copying, reproduction, duplication, transmission, or display of the content of this website, without the express written permission of Friends of Wine Limited) for purposes other than the viewing of information or for ordering purposes, is strictly prohibited.

Permission is granted to electronically copy, and to print in hard copy, portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with Friends of Wine Limited or using this website as a shopping resource.

It is against the law to sell or indeed supply intoxicating substances to persons under 18 years of age in the UK. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request some form of ID. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the wine.
