Produced in the Berici Hills in Italy. The Berici Hills are a range of ancient volcanic origin rising between Verona and Padua in the North of the country. The hill's exposure to the sun and mild climate favour almost Mediterranean vegitation, so vine-growing has prospered here for thousands of years.
The label depicts a classic sketch of Leonardo's Horse. Leonardo da Vinci is linked to this part of Italy, having spent time there during his working life, and his influence can still be noted from the architecture in the area.
